Movement – the gilt fusee movement has a Massey III type escapement and a stop start lever at the 10 position, which stops and starts the balance. The movement is signed “Lanport, Plymouth, No 3074” The movement also features a large diamond endstone and two large Jewels The movement is in 95% mint condition – there are small light scratches only, the rest of the movement is very clean indeed. The movement has its original gilt dust cap

Case – the movement comes in a large silver open face case, which has a hinged bezel and back cover, where the watch is wound from the back and is set from the front. The back cover springs open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the button in on the stem. The stem is decorated with ribbed detailing The case is decorated with coin edged sides. The case is in 75% mint condition – there are signs of wear and tear, with rubbing but this is still a very nice case.

Dial – the solid silver dial has raised gold Roman numbers on individual circles of brushed silver. The rest of the dial is decorated with engine turning in a zig zag pattern. The dial has a clear sub seconds dial with a gilt seconds hand (the watch hands are blue steel) The stop start lever works perfectly, stopping and starting the sub seconds hand The dial is in 98% mint condition – very crisp and clean.
