13.12 Georgian Ebony & Ivory Watchstand circa 1790

This is an attractive Georgian Watchstand made out of ebony wood and ivory pillars and finials. It has a circular base measuring 10cm in diameter and 20cm in height. The base rests on 3 ball feet and has a recessed circular shape carved into the top of it. Three turned ivory pillars form a semi-circle on one side of this recess that connects the base and the cupola. From the cupola are 3 upwards facing finials, and 2 downwards facing, made of ivory. It has one central hook made of ivory. There is slight damage to one of the upward facing finials, but otherwise this stand is in very nice, 90% mint, condition considering its age.
