13.74 English Silver Ladies Pocket Watch Stand. Birmingham 1905

This English silver stand would have stood on a ladies dressing table in the Edwardian period. The stand has clear English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1905 and the makerís marks for THH & Co. There is also a Patent registration number. The stand has a round base which is covered with leather underneath and slightly loaded to increase the centre of gravity, so that the stand does not topple over when the watch is placed in the cup. The stand has a tapered neck which supports the round cup / watch holder, this is lined with velvet and is best suited for a ladies pocket watch. In this case we have used 6.7 from our watch site. The stand has a smooth plain finish. The stand measures 75mm high x 46mm wide and is in 98% mint condition Ė some tiny marks only.
