Case – the movement comes in a massive silver Hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The inner cover is signed “Bruder Klumak, Wien, Rothenthurmstr. Chronometer-macher, Der Kriegs-Marine” This signature is signed around an engraved crown and an anchor Around the edge of the inner cover, the case is signed “Seuls Representants pour l’Autriche-Hongrie de la Maison Ch. R. Tissot & Fils, Fabricants D’Horolgerie De Precision Au Locle (Suisse) The front cover of the watch pops open crisply when you press the winder in The case is decorated all over with ornate silver and niello enamel decoration On the front there is a large Silver monogram with niello highlights with initials “GS” The front and back covers are then decorated with silver stars on a black background. Along the sides are more silver stars and a central border of silver circles against black The case is of superb quality with large gold hinges and lip. The case also has pronounced large gold collars and neck around the stem The case is in 90% mint condition – there is minor wear and tear on most of the ase but the back cover is losing its lustre on the niello and looks a bit flat
