Movement – this nickel full plate movement features Aurora’s patent regulator. The movement is decorated with damascening and is signed “Aurora Watch Co, Aurora, Ill, 15 Jewels, Patent Pinion” # 70319 The movement is in 85% mint condition – on first inspection very clean but under close inspection with an eye glass there are many fine scratches

Case – the movement comes in its original coin silver case. The case has an inner metal non magnetic cover and the case is marked with a number 4, which denotes 4 ounces of silver. The massive silver case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – exceptionally clean with just some small light surface scratches

Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has blue steel Umbrella hands. The dial is signed “Aurora Watch Co” and is in 99% mint condition – tiny marks only. The watch has a particularly good beveled mineral glass.
