4.62 Silver Military Ulysses Nardin Property of Corps Engineers, USA Pocket Watch. Open Face. 52mm. Stem Wound / Stem Set. Circa 1917


Movement – the high grade nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement is jewelled to the centre and is signed “Ulysses Nardin, Locle, Geneve, Sixteen Jewels, 4 Adjustments, Swiss” # 79551. The movement is in 80% mint condition – the bridges have many fine micro surface scratches.

Case – the movement comes in a silver case which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case is stamped with Ulysse Nardin Logo. The back cover does have some small scratches. The inner cover is signed “Ulysse Nardin, Le Locle, Geneve”. The back of the case is signed “Property of Corps of Engineers, USA, No 8822”. The case is in 95% mint condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Ulysse Nardin, Locle, Geneve, Swiss” and is in 90% mint condition – 2 small hairlines in the centre. The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
