Movement – the ¾ plate nickel movement has a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass, 15 Jewels” # 17614189 and is in 90% mint condition – light marks only.
Case – the movement comes in a solid 9K gold Dennison open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The inner cover has the inscription “Presented to W J Hoad, by the Employees of Messrs W H Dorman & Co, Stafford, March 1921”.
The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 99% mint condition – exceptionally clean with just one sliver of gold wire missing from the winder.
Dial – the white enamel dial is signed “Waltham, USA” and is in 100% mint condition. The watch has a particularly good beveled glass. Please note that with this watch, the hand setting is a little stiff due to lack of use.
