This is a Solid English Silver Watch chain and Silver Swivel Fob
The fob has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1901 and maker's marks for WA.
The Silver chain has a few English silver hallmarks but no visible letter marks but was definitely made around the same time
The Chain has a T bar at one end and a Dog clip at the other. The T Bar is decorated with a spiral pattern and is connected to a length of silver box links.
These box links are decorated with carved and engraved detailing
At the far end is a silver Dog clip, which is a later addition
Hanging from the T bar is an additional length of chain from which hangs a silver Swivel fob
This fob as a plain circular body which is set with a red hard stone on one side and a green hard stone on the other.
The swivel has a shank made up of interlocking silver links / wire work and has a suspension loop
The fob measures 22mm wide x 25mm long and is in excellent condition.
The chain measures 33cm from the T Bar to the Dog clip
The chain is in 85% mint condition – some minor wear and tear but mainly let down by the replaced dog clip
