9.115 English Silver Double Stamp Case. Birmingham 1938

This is a solid silver stamp case, which is larger than usual as it has two compartments for stamps instead of the usual one. The case hinges open and one side of the lid has been segmented into two halves and has a silver coloured metal, sprung strut to keep the stamps in place. The case has a simple catch and a smooth plain finish. The case has a silver suspension loop so that the case can be hung on a silver chain. The case has case maker's marks for P & S Ltd. The case measures 51mm x 37mm x 4mm and is in near mint condition.
