This is a penknife cased in gold with clear SHEFFIELD hallmarks for 1925 and clear assay marks for 9K gold The penknife also has makers marks for J.R & S The knife has a gold suspension loop with attractive detailing The gold has a smooth plain finish on both sides and is in excellent condition with minor wear and tear only. The penknife has 6 attachments. On one side there is a button hook, scissors and two fine fruit knives. On the reverse there is a file and pipe scraper. The steel is pitted and marked but all, except the scissors are perfectly useable. The scissors can still cut paper with a bit of effort The steel work is signed “Joseph Rodgers & Sons” hence the J.R & S mark on the gold The knife when folded up measures 7.5cm long x 13mm wide x 8mm deep The knife weighs 44.6g in total
