A rare 16 size signed white enamel dial with additional "Pat. 779.Mex.Io Enero 922" marking. A
rare and very eye-catching dial made for the Mexican and South American market, this dial is designed for a watch with hour hand making one revolution per day. The hand arrangement of watches with this dial is the reverse of the ordinary, as the hours are read by a longer hand reaching to the perimeter 24-hour chapter while the minutes are read by a much shorter hand reaching to the small 60-minute chapter around centre. The dial has many faint hairlines, a fine scratch above 1, and few tiny edge flakes between 21 and 1, one dial foot is broken off. Dial feet at 18, 40.
