This is an open face pocket watch movement. It does not come with a winder
The movement has a good spring but the balance pivots are slightly bent and so the balance does not always swing freely
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement, an unusual patent regulator, gold caps for the escape wheel and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “E. Howard Watch Co, Boston, USA, Pat’d 21,” #1733. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light scratches
Dial – the silvered dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Howard”. The dial is in 99% mint condition – so good it looks refinished to me
The movement measures 38.6mm x 4.6mm
The movement is stem wound / stem set
