14s 19J Waltham Riverside A thin movement c1915

This is a Colonial movement which is thinner than most 14 size movements

The movement is an open face, stem wound / stem set

The movement has a good mainspring but the balance has a bent pivot

Movement – the nickel Bridge movement has a lever escapement, gold jewel settings, gold train wheels and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed Waltham, Riverside A, 19  Jewels, Adj 5 pos” # 20069857. There are many fine scratches

Dial – the silvered metal dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed by the retailer Charlton & Co. The dial has noticeable marks and stains

The movement measures 41mm wide x 3.5mm deep
