This is an open face, stem wound / lever set – no winder
The movement has a a good spring but a broken balance.
Movement – the high quality nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator, gold train wheels and large gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “Nat’l Watch Co, USA, BW Raymond, 21 Jewels, Adj 5 positions” # 20852960. The movement is in 90% mint condition – a broken balance.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin”. The dial has a superb 24 hour chapter ring and is in 99% mint condition – a good rare example
The movement measures 42.6mm x 7.5mm
