The movement has a good spring and balance and will tick
Movement – the good quality nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 15 Jewels” 16796511 and is in 90% mint condition – many fine scratches. No case screws
Dial – the white enamel dial has a set of mismatched blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Elgin” and is in 90% mint condition – hairlines on the 4 and 7
The movement measures 42mm x 7mm
