The movement has a good spring but the balance is a little sluggish and so only ticks for a short while
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “American Waltham USA, Traveler” # 20604311. The movement is in 95% mint condition – a clean example
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands, is signed “Waltham” and is in 95% mint condition – oil stain on the sub seconds, some dirt on the dial and a dot of rust on the minute hand
The movement measures 43mm wide x 7mm deep
