This is an open face, stem wound / lever set – no winder
The movement has a a good spring but a broken balance.
Movement – the high quality nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and large gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 21 Jewels, 349” # 11415999. The movement is in 95% mint condition – a good looking movement but the balance is broken.
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a full set of blue steel hands. It is signed “Elgin”. The dial is in 80% mint condition – numerous hairlines on the outer edge of the dial
The movement measures 45mm x 11mm
