English fusee pocket watch movement by Ollivant, Manchester c1850

This is a Victorian fusee pocket watch movement.

The movement has a good balance and chain and the movement is ticking briefly.

Movement – the gilt half plate fusee movement has a lever escapement and a gold balance wheel with a diamond endstone. The movement is signed “T & J Ollivant, Manchester, 7865, Detached Lever”. The movement is in 95% mint condition

The movement is protected by a spring loaded dust cover

Dial – the white enamel dial has a sub seconds dial, no hands and is in 80% mint condition – a large chip on the dial above the 12

The movement measures 44mm x 7mm
