This is an American Railroad grade watch Co by the Hampden Watch Co, USA
Movement – the nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is decorated with gold damascening. The movement is signed “Dueber Watch Co, Canton Ohio” # 3122002 and is in 85% mint condition – small marks and scratches
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw on back and bezel. The case is decorated with floral engraving on the back and a smooth plain finish on the sides. The case is in 75% mint condition - there are traces of metal coming through on the edges of the case and the side of the case is quite dull and brassy, not a usual gold finish
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk. It has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Hampden Watch Co”. The dial is in 80% condition with 2 hairlines on the 4 and a forked hairline on the 7
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 55mm wide x 19mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set.
