This is an American Railroad pocket watch made by the Illinois Watch co circa 1921
Movement – the high grade nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator, gold train wheels and gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “Bunn Special, Illinois Watch Co, Springfield, Motor Barrel, 23 Jewels, Adjusted Temp and 6 positions, 3815518”. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated keystone case, which has a screw on back and bezel. The case a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light signs of wear on the edges
Dial – the white enamel Montgomery dial is double sunk and has continuous minute marks. The dial is signed “Illinois” and is in 95% mint condition – 2 ultra faint hairlines.
The watch measures 50mm x 13mm deep
