This is an official American Railroad pocket watch made by the Hamilton Watch Co.
Movement – this high grade ¾ plate nickel movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and a gold capped escape wheel. The movement also has gold train wheels, raised gold jewel settings and is decorated with striped damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, 21 Jewels 992, Adj 5 positions” # 2619768. The movement is also signed Elinvar under the balance
The movement is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Case – the movement comes in a 14K white gold Filled open face case, which has a screw off back and front. The case is signed Hamilton Railroad model. The case has engraving on the bezel and back edge and a smooth plain finish on the back cover. The case is in 95% unused condition – superb condition
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk. It has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Hamilton”. The dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch measures 51mm x 12mm deep
