The watch has a model 5 movement
Movement – the high grade model 5 nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator, gold train wheels, raised gold jewel settings and a gold cap on the lever. The movement is decorated with damascening and signed “Sangamo 23 Ruby Jewels, Motor Barrel, Adjusted Temperature six positions Isochronism, Illinois Watch Co, DR” # 2185495. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some small marks
Case – the movement comes in a Nawco King 14K gold filled case.
The case has a wide carved stem. The case has carved detailing on the back and bezel and a smooth plain finish on the rest of the case. The case is in 95% mint condition – a superb case
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk with Gothic style numerals and blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Illinois Watch Co” and is in 95% mint condition – a small flake in the centre around the hands hole
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 49mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / lever set
