This is a 12 size 17 Jewel American pocket watch which comes with it a wooden E Howard box.
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “E Howard Watch Co, Boston, USA, 17 Jewels, Adjusted, No 1299092. The movement is in 95% mint condition – some small marks.
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a hinged inner, back cover and bezel. The inner cover is signed “E Howard Watch Co, Boston” The case has a scroll monogram on the back; the rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light marks only. Please note that the back cover is very tight and hard to open.
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of elegant blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Howard” and is in 100% mint condition – many faint hairlines
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 46mm wide x 10mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a wooden E Howard box with but is not original. The certificate does not match the serial number.
