This is an American pocket watch made by the Illinois Watch co circa 1912
Movement – the high grade nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with fancy damasceneing. The movement is signed “Washington Watch Co, Army and Navy, Adjusted to temp and positions, 21 Jewels, 2441784” The movement is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw on back and bezel. The case floral engraving on the back, a smooth plain finish on the sides and is in 95% mint condition – a superb example
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk with Gothic type script. The dial is signed “Washington Watch Co” and is in 100% mint condition.
The watch measures 54mm x 16mm deep
