The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pa, 21 Jewels, 992, adjusted 5 positions” # 1057724. The movement is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in a rare model 4, white 14K gold filled open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel and a fixed bow. The case is signed “14K Gold filled, Hamilton Railroad Model”. The case has a carved patterns on the bezel and back edge. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – light marks only
Dial – the white enamel Montgomery dial is double sunk with a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton” and is in 95% mint condition – a hairline on the 9
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 14mm deep
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch comes in a cardboard two piece box for a Hamilton 992 plus a charming leaflet about the watch (the leaflet is a little crumpled)
