This is an American Rail road pocket watch made by the Illinois Watch Co
Movement – the ultra high grade nickel full plate movement has a micrometer regulator, large gold jewel settings and is decorated with fine damascening. The movement is signed “Bunn Special, Springfield, Ill, 23 Ruby Jewels, Adjusted Temperature 6 positions, isochronism, jewelled barrel” # 2529971 and is in 90% mint condition – on close inspection with an eye glass there are scratches and marks
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, pocket watch case which has a screw off back and front. The case has some coin edged sides, floral engraving on the back and a smooth plain finish on the rest of the case. The case is in 85% mint condition – metal coming through on the stem and sides with a loss of definition to the engraving and a small dent on the edge. Plus the winder has lost its gilt covering

The dial has an inner chapter ring with red enamel 24 hour and is also a Montgomery dial with continuous minute marks and a 6 in the sub seconds.
