This is an American pocket pocket watch made by the Waltham Watch Co and sent to England where it was cased and sold

The English silver case has hallmarks for 1918

Movement – this is nickel ¾ plate movement with a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. It is signed “Waltham Watch Company” # 22404657. The movement is in 95% mint condition

Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case by Dennison which has a hinged inner, back and a hinged bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% condition – a very nice case with just some light blemishes and scratches on the back

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Waltham, USA, Equity”. The dial is in 98% mint condition - a very small hairline from the sub seconds to the centre

The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set
