This is a rare watch made by Omega for the American and in this case, the Canadian railroad.
This type of watch is known as the 19 grade and were a subdivision of Omega’s products.
Movement – the high quality nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement has gold jewel settings and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Ls Brandt & Frs, SA, Grade CCR, 19 Jewels, Adjusted to 5 positions” # 3658552 and is in 95% mint condition
Case - the movement comes in a white nickel silver open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case is decorated with an engraved steam locomotive on the back. The case has milled detailing on the back edge and bezel and the rest of the case has a smooth plain finish. The case is in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and was made for the Canadian market. It has an outer chapter ring with continuous minutes and an inner chapter ring with 24 hour markings. The dial is signed “Brandt” and is in 100% mint condition
