This pocket watch was made by Waltham Watch Co, USA and sent to England where it was cased and sold
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “A.W.W.Co. Waltham, Mass” # 7511675. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, made by Dennison, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and a vacant crest on the back. The case is in 95% mint condition – a super crisp example
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is signed “American Waltham Watch Co” and is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 13mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
