This movement was made in America by Waltham, it was sent to England where it was cases and sold. The watch case has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1918
Movement – nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator. The movement is decorated with damascening and is signed “AWWCo Waltham, Mass, 15 Jewels” # 20710012. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks.
Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case by Dennison which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has as smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – 1 light scratched patch on the back
Dial - the original black enamel dial has gold enamel numbers and gilt hands. The dial is in signed “Waltham, USA” and is in 99% mint condition.
