This is a good example of a 12 size pocket watch. It runs well and keeps good time but has not been cleaned or serviced
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co USA” # 26384920. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light scratches
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw off back and snap on bezel. The case is decorated with carved edges, engine turning, initials RS and is in 80% mint condition – rubbing and wear in the centre of the back of the case.
Dial – the white enamel dial has mismatched blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin” and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
The watch has a synthetic glass, which is scratched
The watch measures 43mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
