This is an American pocket watch made by the Illinois Watch Co circa 1923
The watch runs but has not been cleaned or serviced and is sold with No Warranty.
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with gold train wheels and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “Illinois Watch Co Springfield, 17 Jewels, Adjusted’ 4441762. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a 14K white gold filled open face with a snap on back and front and 10 sides. The case is decorated with engraving and carved edges plus engine turning on the back and small engraved initials. The case is in 85% mint condition – there is some wear with metal showing right on the corners of the case
Dial – the silvered dial has a centre decorated with a sunburst effect. The dial has a full set of blue steel hands, is signed “Illinois” and is in 80% mint condition – tarnished and marked around the edges
The watch measures 43mm wide x 10mm deep
