This watch has a good balance but the mainspring in slipping and so is NOT working properly. It is sold “as is” with no warranty or guarantee
Movement – the nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Hampden Watch Co, Canton, Ohio, 17 Jewels” # 3104410. The movement is in 90% mint condition – small marks only
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case by Royal with a screw on back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides and a smooth plain finish with an engraved cartouche – now rubbed. The case is in 90% mint condition – rubbing on the engraving on the back
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is decorated with gold enamel flowers. The dial is signed “Hampden Watch Co” and is in 95% mint condition – a curved hairline extending from the sub seconds to the centre
The watch has a plastic glass
The watch measures 55mm wide x 17mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
