This watch has a broken mainspring and bent pivots. The watch comes in a massive 4oz Sterling silver case.
Movement – the nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with wavy damascening. The movement is signed “Illinois Watch Co, Springfield, Lakeshore, adj, 17J” 1601781. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some scratches
Case – the movement comes in a 4oz Sterling silver case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – needs a good clean
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has Breguet style blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Illinois Watch Co” and is in 95% mint condition – no damage just dirt
The watch has a thick bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 58mm wide x 20mm deep
The watch is stem wound / lever set
