This is a 12 size 21 Jewel American pocket watch which comes with its original wooden box.
The watch is working but has NOT been cleaned or serviced and is sold with no warranty
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement, a gold capped escape wheel and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “E Howard Watch Co, Boston, USA, 21 Jewels, Adjusted, No 1059782. The movement is in 90% mint condition – a long fine scratch.
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The inner cover is signed “E Howard Watch Co, Boston” and engraved “Lewis W Tanner, From Father & Mother, June 24th, 1909. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – light marks only but on the edge there is one patch where the gold plating has worn away leaving a line of metal coming through
Dial – the white enamel dial has fancy scroll numbers and red five minute marks plus a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Howard” and is in 90% mint condition – a fine hairline on the 7 and a small crack next to the 2
The watch has a plastic glass
The watch measures 47mm wide x 10mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in its original wooden box with an inlay signature on the lid and lined with green velvet but lacking the silk inside the lid.
