This is an 18s 17J Anchor Grade nickel full plate movement with a lever escapement and a Teske regulator, invented by Charles Teske 1885. The movement is signed “17J Jewels Adjusted, Dueber” 716756. The movement is in 90% mint condition – a few stains
Case – the movement comes in an unusual clam case with a hinged bezel and back cover. The movement sits in a metal housing hinged to both and this in turn has a hinged back cover.
The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 75% mint condition – some bruising around the edges
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk. It has blue steel filigree hands and is signed “Hampden Watch Co’. The dial is in 70% mint condition – numerous hairlines and cracks
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch measures 56mm wide x 21mm deep
