This pocket watch is not working. The spring is OK but the balance does not swing freely
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin, USA, 15944486”. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case has a thief proof bow which turns 360 degrees, also allowing the watch to be worn as a pendant. The case is decorated with engine turning and floral engraving and a small initial. The case is in 90% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin”. The dial is in 95% mint condition – small marks
The watch has a plastic glass
The watch measures 32mm x 11mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
