The movement is lacking its balance and is for restoration
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a start, stop, fly back and reset timer function. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 15 Jewels, 40698910. The movement has no balance
Case – the movement comes in a white metal open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and a snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – a light build up of scratches on the back
Dial – the black paint on metal dial has a decimal 1 – 0 register and a fast moving hand. The sub register dial also has interesting 5 and then 10 minute counter. The dial has a white metal sweep centre seconds hand and register. The dial is in 95% mint condition
The timer has a plastic glass
The timer measures 49mm wide x 17mm deep
