This is a 12 size 15 Jewel American pocket watch.
The watch is NOT working. The balance has bent pivots
Movement – the 303 grade, 7 Jewel nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA.” # 25297035 The movement is in 90% mint condition – small marks only
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is decorated with a monogram on the back. The case is in 90% mint condition – light marks only
Dial – the white enamel dial has blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Elgin” and is in 95% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass which is a little dirty
The watch measures 44mm wide x 11mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
