The case would be an excellent substitute if you needed a 16s case
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA, 17 Jewels, Adj 3 positions” # 31222410. The movement is in 90% mint condition – a little dirty
Case – the movement comes in a chromed white metal case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has coin edged sides, engine turning and vacant crest on the back. The case is in 95% mint condition – practically unused condition with a few small only but the back cover does not line up perfectly with the stem – this may be due to the newness of the case
Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Elgin” and is in 70% mint condition – numerous hairlines
The watch has a light yellow plastic glass
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch measures 49mm wide x 13mm deep
