This watch is running and keeping good time but hasn’t been cleaned and serviced.
Movement – the model 1883, nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement has gold jewel settings and is signed “Appleton Tracy & Co, Waltham, Mass, 17 Jewels, Adjusted” # 5701122. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks
Case – the movement comes in a Waltham white metal open face case which has a screw on back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 85% mint condition –one small soft bruise on the back and light wear elsewear
Dial – the white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is signed “AWWCo, Waltham, Mass”. The dial is in 98% mint condition – a very faint hairline on the 12-1.
The watch has a thick beveled mineral glass
The watch measures 56mm wide x 19mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set.
