This watch is a small fob sized 0 size 7 Jewel hunter pocket watch – NOT a gents size watch
The watch is running but has NOT been cleaned or serviced and is sold with NO Warranty
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA” # 14697425 and is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in but is sprained and so does not close properly. The is decorated with three colour gold flowers and leaves in pink and green gold set against a yellow gold background. The case is in 80% mint condition – the case is in very good condition apart from the front cover being sprained and there being a noticeable gap when closed. This would be improved by replacing the thick glass with a fine mineral glass
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Elgin”. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has an old mineral glass – this is too thick for the watch
The watch measures 35mm wide x 10mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
