This is a 12 size 15 Jewel American pocket watch.
The watch is working but has NOT been cleaned or serviced and is sold with no warranty
Movement – the 7 Jewel nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, USA” # 11329251 The movement is in 80% mint condition – small marks and missing case screws
Case – the movement comes in a Sterling silver open face case, which has a hinged back, inner and bezel. The case is decorated with engine turning, coin edged sides and floral. The case is in 85% mint condition – some wear and the back cover is sprained
Dial – the white enamel dial has blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Elgin” and is in 80% mint condition – many cracks and hairlines on the bottom edge of the dial
The watch has a synthetic glass
The watch measures 43mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
