This pocket watch is not working. The spring is OK and the balance swings but the watch is fully wound and not ticking
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, micrometer regulator, gold train wheels and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “PS Bartlett, Waltham, Mass, 17 Jewels, Adjusted, 18061691”. The movement is in 80% mint condition – spotting to the winding wheels
Case – the movement comes in a gold plated hunter case by Dennison with a hinged back, inner and front cover. The front cover does NOT pop open to 90 degrees when you press the winder in and the front cover will not stay open as the case spring is broken. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – some marks and scratches and wear on the bow.
Dial – the white enamel double sunk dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Waltham”. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 12mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
