This is a Timer and not a pocket watch.
The timer has a faulty mainspring so the timer only goes for a few seconds and then stops
This timer was made by Waltham USA, circa 1940 and was probably intended for military use.
Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a start, stop. Fly balance and reset function. The movement is signed “Waltham, USA, 16-43 TC, Nine Jewels” # 31795129. The movement is in 95% mint condition.
Case – the movement comes in a base metal open face case, which has a snap on inner, screw on back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – small marks only
Dial – the white on metal dial has a decimal register from 1 – 0 and a 30 minute sub register. The dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Waltham”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a plastic glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 17mm deep
