Gilt and green alabaster pocket watch wall holder c1880

This in the typical late Victorian style and features a large round piece of green alabaster with stepped sides. In the middle of the alabaster is the gilt side profile of a gentleman in Elizabethan dress, possibly Walter Raleigh. Below him is a gilt escutcheon and a hook from which to hang a pocket watch. 

The back of the alabaster has circular gilt mount and a wall fastening

The holder measures 100mm wide x 15mm deep

The holder is in 100% mint condition
