This is very impressive watch stand made from majolica pottery and would look wonderful if placed on a plinth.
Due to its large size it barely fitted in my photographic studio so images have a rudimentary background. I have added a bottle of water to give scale to the stand
The huge stand has a column base topped with foliage and a massive eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle has a wire hook from which to hang a watch.
The stand has a glorious glaze and lustre.
It measures 450mm high x 250mm on the wingspan x 170mm from back to front.
It is in 100% mint condition.
