This is a gold plated locket from the late Victorian period
The oval locket is decorated with light traces of engine turning and has a suspension loop.
Inside there is a frame and glass holding a lock of hair.
The locket measures 14mm x 10mm x 2mm – it is tiny and is in 80% mint condition – light wear and the majority of the engine turning has worn away.
