This is French gilt metal pocket watch stand which has a gilt claw frame
The base is a casket with three bevelled glass sides and a hinged glass lid. The inside is lined with blue velvet.
The back section has an old cut etched glass mirror. Above this is a padded velvet area, gilt detailing and a hook for the watch.
The stand measures 220mm x 100mm x 90mm and is in 90% mint condition – the fabrica ares are becoming worn and threadbare
