This pocket watch stand was used in the filming of BBCs Great Expectations. It was used as a prop in the office of the character “Jaggers”
This is a very elegant pocket watch stand ideally suited for verges from 1750 – 1800
The stand is made from dark wood, probably ebony.
It has a round base with a recessed centre – to hold a chain or watch keys
The stand then has two elegant tapered columns supporting an arch with carved detailing and a hook for the watch
The stand measures 135mm x 75mm
The stand is in 95% mint condition
